Michael & team did a fantastic job with my chimneys on an old house from 1870 in Ossining Village. They came highly recommended from one of the top roofers in Westchester County.
For my brick chimney, they demolished the existing one & rebuilt it with new red brick & pointed all joints between brick with new mortar.
They also provided & installed a new limestone crown at the top of the chimney. Price was reasonable.
For my stucco chimney, they removed & replaced existing concrete with new concrete.

I engaged J&L for two jobs over the past two years. One was the complete rebuild of the brick walkway entrance to my home in Mamaroneck. This was a major project and Mike Serra and company did the most excellent job. These guys are professional, on time and left a lasting impression on my home. J&L Construction & Restoration installs, repairs and replaces roofs for homes, condominiums and commercial buildings across Westchester County, from Yonkers to Bedford. We work with asphalt shingle, EPDM, TPO, SBS, built-up and standing-seam metal systems, and we handle the chimney flashing and masonry that most roofers leave to someone else. Every roofing job starts with a free on-site visit and a written estimate.
Commercial roofing maintenance typically includes roof inspections 1–2 times per year, cleaning debris, sealing seams, and identifying and fixing cracks to prevent water leaks.
Commercial flat roof new construction starts at approximately $13 per sq. ft. If removing existing roofing, installing insulation, and applying cover board, costs typically range $16–$22 per sq. ft. Replacement of damaged 4×8 CDX plywood sheets may cost $110–$130 per sheet.
